Meet Saba Javaid, Oral Health Therapist

Saba J.Saba was inspired to become an Oral Health Therapist, as she always wanted to help people achieve happy, healthy and beautiful smiles.

To prepare for her career, Saba earned a Bachelor of Oral Health and Therapy from Charles Sturt University in 2020. Always learning for the benefit of our patients, she also took the Adult Scope Dentistry course from the University of Sydney in 2021. “There are only 2-3 Oral Health Therapists with adult scope in all of Western Australia.”

For Saba, the most fulfilling aspect of her job is having special emphasis on minimal intervention dentistry and preventative oral health regimes. She also finds it rewarding to help prevent early childhood caries through good oral hygiene practice and dietary advice.

When she’s not caring for patients’ smiles, Saba enjoys reading books (mostly classics). Some interesting facts about Saba: she’s fluent in three other languages, apart from English (Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto). Saba has a chocolate brown Labradoodle named Chewie (as in Chewbacca). “I am a big Star Wars fan!”
